What Could You Do? Rooftop Deck Edition

If you follow me on IG, you know I do Wednesday Walkthroughs. Which I loveeee. So on one Wednesday Walkthrough, I did a Rooftop edition of only rooftop decks. In this case looking over Baltimore City. Because the properties were vacant, so were the decks. But it got me thinking, what could you do with this space? The answer is, a lot.
Depending on which type of mood you are going for, you could lean towards an oasis style deck, or a more cozy deck. I found those are the most common. But they both feature some the same major staples.
1) Lighting: whether you want to be more cozy, with warmer lighting, or the oasis style vibe, with brighter lighting. The fact is, it’s a must.
2) Outdoor area rugs: they bring personality to your rooftop space. Whether you opt for a bold color, neutral color, or a pattern, the rug is definitely a bonus.
3) Fire Pit: If your deck allows, a fire pit is a great addition. Especially if you are going for the cozier deck option.
4) Plants: plants are really great for both options. Even if you’re being cozy, there is nothing like a plant or plants to really bring your space to life. But, if you want to create an oasis, go all out.
5) Tables: The options are endless. Whether you go for a small table for two, or a full deck dining situation, it’s a great piece to have.
6) Outdoor swing/hammock: Perfect for lounging about and making your rooftop deck and extension of your peaceful outdoor getaway.
